Component Cover -The following components
are covered against Mechanical Breakdown (as defined elsewhere
in this document) of those items listed below. Please note that
parts not listed are specifically excluded.
BRAKES
Master cylinder, servo, wheel cylinders, callipers. Excluding
burnt out parts & general wear & tear.
STEERING
Steering rack & pinion, steering box, power steering unit
including pump, pressure pipes & reservoir, but excluding
power steering belts, external linkages and joints, rubber boots
& swivel pins. SUSPENSION l Coil springs.
WHEEL BEARINGS
All wheel bearings. Excluding wear & tear.
COOLING SYSTEM
Water pump, head gasket, thermostat & housing, viscous
fan. Excluding frost damage.
ELECTRICS
Window & wiper motors. Thermostatically controlled
cooling fan motor, factory fitted central locking, (motor &
relay only) and sunroof motor.
FUEL
Carburettor, fuel pump, fuel injection (metering unit, air
vane meter, pump and injectors only) choke unit.
FOUR WHEEL DRIVE
Transfer box, all internal components listed under manual
transmission.
CASINGS
Cylinder block, cylinder head, gearbox casing, front drive
housing, rear axle housing.
The above components are covered against mechanical failure
due to sudden and unexpected circumstances. However please note
that the loss of any fluids or sundries as a direct result of a
failure of any of these components is not covered nor are any
serviceable items, i.e. contact breakers, distributor cap,
plugs, filters, cables, belts etc. External oil leaks are
excluded. Please note that this warranty does not cover failure
due to wear and tear
Where the failure has been supported by computer diagnosis
this must be submitted with the claims invoice.
This warranty has a single claims limit of £150.00, £300.00
or £500.00 depending on the choice made at the time of purchase.
You may make claims up to the price of the vehicle, but you
cannot claim for the same failure twice & each claim cannot
exceed the policy limit. Silver is available with limits of
£150.00 £300.00 & £500.00
