If your car is under 10 years old and has less than
100,000 miles on the clock we can offer you a Platinum Warranty
(All Mechanical & All Electrical cover).
We believe we are unique in offering this type of warranty
for cars with over 25,000 miles as other warranty companies may
restrict their top of the range policies to vehicles under 2
years old and with less than 25,000 miles on the clock.

Clutches: - All the retail policies cover
the following clutch components. The driven plate, pressure plate,
release bearing & clutch fork, Additionally, the Premier & Platinum
warranties cover the clutch cable and the hydraulics. Some companies
cover only the Clutch pedal itself.
In Car Entertainment: The Platinum policy
covers these components (maximum £100 per claim).
No Mileage Limitations: None
of the policies have mileage limitations, nor does the level of cover
decrease as the mileage increases.
£25 Excess: Our excess
is fixed and does not vary with the size of the repair.
Catalytic Converter: Platinum policies cover
catalytic converters.
Cam Belts: All of the
polices cover cam belt failure, so long as there is proof that
the manufacturers replacement recommendations have been complied
with, and they are free from oil contamination.
Turbos: All the policies
cover turbocharger and Superchargers against failure, and this
includes the wastegate if it is an integral part of the turbo unit
and cannot be purchased separately.
Air Conditioning: The level
of air conditioning cover varies with the type of policy and it is
worth noting that all the policies we sell to the public cover air
conditioning & climate control components.
Direct Settlement with the garage: : The claims
department will settle your repair costs directly with the garage.
There is no requirement to use a specific garage; although the
administrator's suggest you return to your supplying dealer or a
VAT registered garage, they won't make any charge if you elect
to use a garage outside the scheme.
Vehicle Hire Covered: The
insurers will pay up to £50 per day (Inc VAT) for a maximum of 7
days. Vehicle hire is only available when the manufacturer’s
recommended repair time exceeds 8 hours. The period of hire does
not include delays while waiting for the start of the repair or
delivery of parts.
14 Day Money back Period: :
If no claim has been submitted you can cancel the policy and receive
a refund the premium paid with no charges deducted. The insurer
reserves the right to deduct administration costs from any refund
in the event of a claim made during this period.
Consequential Losses: If
a minor but insured part fails, and the consequence of that failure
is that other parts are damaged, the policy covers the repair
costs of all the damage caused by the failure of the insured part.
No Waiting Period: There is no waiting period
before we put your vehicle on cover, unlike some policies the
policy can start immediately. When you buy your policy you will
be asked when you would like your policy to start and that can be
any time from today onwards.
Continental Cover: Cover is extended for up to 60 days in any
12 month period while the vehicle is in any country of the EU or
EFTA. The most we will pay is restricted to the equivalent UK
rate for labour charges, and for parts at the manufacturer’s list
prices, which are current at the date of the claim.

Servicing Requirements: A condition of the
cover is that the vehicle must be regularly serviced according
to the manufacturer’s recommendations or 6 months or 6,000
miles from purchase. There are some conditions and you should
read the Policy terms for further details. Failure to service the
vehicle in accordance with this requirement will end the insurance
cover.
Professional Claims Handlers: There is a
dedicated claims department that is staffed by qualified and
experienced claims handlers who understand your policy and who will
deal with claims in a swift and professional manner.
No Automatic Contributions: Some warranty
companies charge you a contribution if your car has covered more
than 60,000 miles, sometimes paying as little as 50% of the repair
costs. WE DON’T WORK THIS WAY, the administrators will only ask
for a contribution if it improves your vehicle (betterment or
enrichment) or the claims department believe it is fair (e.g. if
an oil leak has contaminated a 50% worn clutch plate, they might
ask you to contribute towards the cost of the part but not
towards the labour, VAT or other charges).
APPROPRIATE CLAIM LIMITS:
Each warranty has a claim limit and by choosing the right
claim limit for your vehicle, you can keep your costs down.
During the term of the policy you can make claims up to the
value of your car, but each claim is limited to the claim limit
you choose when you buy the policy and it includes labour, parts,
VAT, recovery, accommodation and car hire.
Normally most repairs to smaller and mid range vehicles can be
carried out for under £1000, and only the replacement of a major
component such as the engine or gearbox would cost in excess of
£1000. So for these cars the 12-month £1000 platinum warranty
could be an excellent and very economical buy.
For larger or more expensive models many repairs can cost in excess
of £1000 and for these vehicles a warranty with a £2500 individual
claim limit could be a better buy.
For these cars the 36-month £2500 policy offers very good value,
as we offer the third year free on this policy.
